TERMS & CONDITIONS 

1. Services
HM Painting Co. provides residential and commercial painting, as well as interior, exterior, and staining services. All services are outlined in written estimates or contracts provided to clients prior to beginning work.

2. Estimates & Quotes

  • Estimates are based on the information available at the time of assessment.

  • Final pricing may be adjusted if scope changes, additional work is requested, or unforeseen conditions arise.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
     

3. Scheduling & Access

  • Project start dates are scheduled based on availability and agreed upon with the client.

  • Clients must provide reasonable access to the property during agreed working hours.

  • Delays caused by lack of access, weather, or unforeseen circumstances may affect completion timelines.
     

4. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit may be required to secure scheduling.

  • Payment terms will be outlined in the written agreement or invoice.

  • Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Late payments may incur fees.
     

5. Materials & Workmanship

  • HM Painting Co. uses high-quality, professional-grade materials unless otherwise specified in writing.

  • All work is performed to industry standards and in alignment with our motto, Painting Done Right.

  • Any client-provided materials are used at the client’s own risk and may affect warranties.
     

6. Warranties & Limitations

  • We provide a limited workmanship warranty on completed projects (details provided in contract).

  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by structural issues, moisture, weather, accidents, or misuse.

  • HM Painting Co. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
     

7. Cancellations & Changes

  • Clients must provide at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Changes to project scope must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.
     

8. Safety & Property Protection

  • Our team follows safety protocols and takes precautions to protect property.

  • Clients are responsible for removing valuables, fragile items, and ensuring pets/children are clear of work areas.

  • HM Painting Co. is not responsible for minor incidental damages (e.g., small scuffs, nail pops) that may occur during normal painting preparation.
     

9. Website Use

  • Content on our website is for informational purposes only and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

  • HM Painting Co. is not responsible for third-party links, resources, or services mentioned on the site.
     

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Washington.
